Mr. Amal Ganguli Chairman, HelpAge India
Mr. Amal Ganguli, born in 1939, is a senior Chartered Accountant and a member of the 'Institute of Chartered Accountants' in England and Wales and The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is also a member of the New Delhi Chapter of 'The Institute of Internal Auditors, Florida' and an alumnus of 'The International Management Institute, Geneva'. Mr. Ganguli spent his entire professional career of 40 years in Price Waterhouse/PricewaterhouseCoopers where he became a partner in 1969 and held the office of Chairman and Senior Partner from 1996 till 2003 when he retired.

During his career in the firm, Mr Ganguli worked in the UK/USA, apart from India, and served many of the largest international companies and organisations such as the World Bank and also many major Indian companies and Government organisations. Following his retirement, Mr. Ganguli serves as an independent Director and Audit Committee Chairman/member of a number of listed companies including Century Textiles and Industries Limited, HCL Technologies Limited, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, New Delhi Television Limited, Tata Communications Limited, ICRA Limited, Triveni Turbine Limited, Hughes Communications India Limited, Aricent Technologies (Holdings) Limited and Tata Teleservices Maharashtra Limited.

 
Mr. Subodh Bhargava Chairman, Tata Communications Limited
Shri Subodh Bhargava received degree in Mechanical Engineering from the erstwhile University of Roorkee in 1962 and began his professional career with Balmer Lawrie and Company at Calcutta. Thereafter, he joined the Eicher Group of Companies in 1975, and quickly rose up the ladder to become the Chairman and Chief Executive of the Group in 1997, a position he held till his retirement in 2000.

Shri Bhargava was the President of Association of Indian Automobile Manufacturers and Vice President of Tractor Manufacturers Association in which capacity he made exemplary contribution to the Indian Automobile Industry rendering valuable service to the nation in developing and nurturing the automobile industry.through total quality management, research and development, technology and the customer. His stewardship of the Eicher Group led to a paradigm shift in the basic approach of the Company by diversifying from a single-product single-location enterprise, to a multi-product and multi-location conglomerate of global stature.

The Confederation of Indian Industry deservedly honored him for enterprise by electing him its President during 1994-95. He was a key spokesperson for Indian industry, contributing to and influencing government policy at the National level while simultaneously working with industry through adopting value and ethics based practices, exemplary corporate governance , innovation and globalization to evolve new responses to the changing environment.

Shri Bhargava was a Member of several Government appointed Task Forces and Committees, like Justice Eradi Committee for Insolvency Laws, the Nair Committee to study the Future Perspectives for Sustainable Growth of Ordinance Factories, the Committee of the Technology Development Board, the Professor Iswar Dayal Committee on the future Perspective for Management Education in India, and the professor P.Rama Rao Review Committee for the Indian Institutes of Technology.

He was a Member , Senate of University of Roorkee ; Member Board of Governors of IIM , Indore ; IIM , Lucknow ; Indian Institute of Foreign Trade , New Delhi and Entrepreneur Development Institute , Ahmedabad.

He is currently the Chairman of Tata Communications Ltd; GlaxoSmithKline Healthcare Limited, TRF Ltd; Tata Communications International Pte Ltd; Advisory Board , Wartsila India Ltd. and a Member on the Boards of, Tata Steel Ltd; Tata Motors Ltd, Larsen & Toubro Ltd; Batliboi Ltd; SunBorne Energy Holding LLC; BhartiyaYuva Shakti Trust; National Centre for Promoting Employment for Disabled Persons; Centre for Policy Research; Technology Development Board; IIM,Kashipur and other Institutions for Graduate Engineering and Bachelors and Master's Degree programmes in Business Management

Conferred in 2005 by IIT (Roorkee) its first "Distinguished Alumnus Award" and in 2011 the "Gaurav Shri Award" from Agra University. He has also been recognized as the "Best Independent Director 2011" by Asian Center for Corporate Governance and Association chaired by Mr. Mervyn King. Shri Bhargava has been recognized and honored for excellence in entrepreneurship, innovation and leadership by Horasis ( The Global Visions Community )and was awarded the "Global India Business Leader of the Year - 2013".

In addition to his services to the Country as a technocrat-manager, Shri Bhargava is also a philanthropist of repute.

 

Mr. Pradeep Kashyap
He is known as the father of rural marketing in India. He is recognized as a thought leader and is a regular speaker at CEO forums in India and abroad. He has authored the most definitive 'Rural Marketing Book' for students and practitioners alike.

In 1993 he started MART which has emerged as India's leading rural consultancy organisation. He has been Marketing Advisor to Ministry of Rural Development and has served on Prime Minister Office and Chief Minister Committees on rural development. He is a World Bank and United Nations consultant.

He co-created Project Shakti with Hindustan Unilever to appoint 46,000 poor women from micro finance groups as company dealers. He has pioneered another low cost, last mile rural distribution model using village volunteers on bicycles for Colgate, Heinz and others. He has advised many Fortune 500 companies including Coke, Pepsi, GE, Intel, John Deere, Shell on rural strategy.

He was the only speaker from India at Cannes Lions 2008 among the 50 Global speakers who addressed the 2,000 participants in France. His topic 'Rural India: The Emerging Market'. He was the key note speaker at an International conference in 2010 on inclusive marketing in Chicago. He has given talks at University of Cambridge and London Business School, UK.

He is a recipient of the Indian Merchants Chamber Award 1991 for his outstanding contribution to rural development. He was honored by Star News with the Talent Management Leader 2011 award. He was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award 2013 by Rural Marketing Association of India.

Mr. M Lakshmi Narayan
Mr. M. Lakshminarayan is the Country Manager and Managing Director of HARMAN International (India) Pvt. Ltd., a 100% subsidiary of HARMAN International Industries Inc. USA. Lakshmi was first appointed to this role in 2009 and he established the foundation for tapping the Indian market for growth and market share.

With experience spanning over 30 years in distinguished companies such as Tata Motors and Bosch Ltd., Lakshminarayan is considered an industry stalwart.  After serving for 22 years, he retired as Joint Managing Director and member of the board - Bosch India.

Apart from his current responsibilities at HARMAN India, he has been nominated and appointed as the director and board member for various well known industrial giants:- Director in Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited, Carborumdum Universal Limited, Rane (Madras) Limited, and Chairman of Wabco TVS Ltd
